This short course introduces the learner to the basics of the nutrition needs of the horse.

The Riding Camp Instructor’s Horsemanship Safety Clinic is for camps instructing campers in any phase of horsemanship and includes camps that own or lease horses, which utilize the camper’s horses and which contract with a neighborhood stable for horses.

Join us for an exciting week of hands-on STEM activities and learning at the Tolland County 4-H April Vacation Program! This program is open to all enrolled 4-H Youth ages 7-11 years and promises a week packed with fun, discovery, and learning!
When: Monday-Friday April 14-18, 8:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.
Where: Tolland County Agricultural Center (TAC) in Vernon
Cost: $300 (+$1 online fee)

UConn 4-H Sheep Day will be held on Saturday, February 1st, 2025 - 9:00am to 2:30pm. Registration fee is non-refundable. Check in will be in the Ratcliffe Hicks Arena - UConn Storrs Campus. Designed for youth ages 7-18, parents and leaders.

This short course introduces the learner to the basics of the equine skeletal system and its related disorders.

Saturday, April 5, 2025 - 8:00 am to 4:30 pm Registration Due by March 12, 2025 - Ratcliffe Hicks Arena - UConn Storrs Campus Designed for youth ages 7-18, parents, leaders and goat enthusiasts. Register early as sessions fill quickly. There is no guarantee on session assignment. Schedule subject to change. All participants, both youth and adult and chaperons must pay a non-refundable $25 fee per attendee. DO NOT bring a goat.
