Designed for outdoor professionals, those working in high-risk outdoor environments, and those taking multi-day extended trips in remote areas, under challenging conditions, with limited equipment, unreliable communication, and little to no access to emergency care. Includes CPR, AED and epinephrine injection.
Cost: Public: $850; Current and active Public Service Professional and Western Institute for Lifelong Learning member $800; WNMU faculty and staff $725; WNMU Full-time Student $350*.

Course is for current WFR and WEMS practitioners. Focus is on updates, patient assessment, evac. and refresher of original material. Majority of course is hands-on simulations and case study reviews.  Current WFR and WEMS, or those in their grace period from an approved provider may recertify. WEMS recerts must hold a national registry certification or state license to recertify.
