Wilderness First Responder HYBRID

This is a hybrid course.

Cost: Full course: $900 Public, current and active Public Service Professional $850; Western Institute for Lifelong Learning and WNMU faculty and staff $725, WNMU Full-time Student $350*. If you are only taking the face-to face component of the course (part 2) cost is: $450  You must complete both part 1 and part 2 for certification.

NOTE! Registration for this class will close January 3, 2025. You will receive a link to access the online course components no later than January 10, 2025. You must complete the online course components on your own (unless you registered to take the class for academic credit.) All students must successfully complete the on-line components and associated exams to participate in the face-to-face practical session which is currently scheduled to take place on the Western New Mexico University Campus in Silver City, NM in over two weekends in February (14-16 and 21-23). The course will follow any state-mandated COVID practices. IF YOU ARE TAKING THE CLASS FOR ACADEMIC CREDIT YOU SHOULD REGISTER AND PAY COURSE FEES DIRECTLY THROUGH WNMU; CURRENT WNMU STUDENTS SHOULD NOT REGISTER THROUGH THIS PORTAL.
