Reflective Supervision Consultation Training

Reflective Supervision Consultation Training

The Provision of Reflective Supervision and Consultation

What Is Reflective Supervision/Consultation?
Reflective Supervision/Consultation (RSC) is a relationship-based approach to professional development that supports individuals across disciplines working with infants, young children, and families. Grounded in infant mental health principles, RSC recognizes that relationships are the foundation for growth and change. RSC emphasizes a professional’s use of self, curiosity, and reflective functioning to thoughtfully examine their work and strengthen their capacity to support others through the power of relationship.

This training is designed for professionals who are seeking to deepen their reflective practice. This 15-hour training provides in-depth learning on the principles and practice of RSC. The training integrates theory and application, offering participants opportunities to apply learning immediately through small group discussions and dyadic activities.

Supports I/ECMH Endorsement®:
This training satisfies the training requirements for professionals pursuing Endorsed Reflective Supervisor (ERS) status and may also support Endorsement® renewal for individuals already endorsed as an ERS.
