What is Lambda Pi Eta?

Lambda Pi Eta is the National Communication Association’s official honor society at four-year colleges and universities nationwide. The honor society recognizes outstanding student scholars in Communication.   

Lambda Pi Eta has been the National Communication Association’s official honor society since 1995 and is a member of the Association of College Honor Societies (ACHS). Membership in Lambda Pi Eta signifies distinguished achievement in the discipline of Communication. 

If you are a Communication Studies major, Strategic and Corporate Communication major, or Global Communication & World Languages major you may be eligible to join.

How to Join

Please fill out the application available from the School of Communication's website to apply.

Once you apply, you will receive notification of whether or not you have been accepted into Lambda Pi Eta. After you officially receive an acceptance letter, you can proceed to the payment process. 

(Please do not pay the membership fee if you have not applied to join or if you have not received an acceptance letter from Amy Rogeness. You must be accepted into the honor society first in order to become an official member.)
