Designed for those working in high-risk outdoor environments and those taking multi-day extended trips in remote areas, under challenging conditions, with limited equipment, unreliable communication, and little to no access to emergency care. Includes CPR, AED and epinephrine injection. Hybrid.

You must verify successful completion of PART 1 prior to registering for PART 2 of the course. Part 2 is a face-to-face class that takes place on the Western New Mexico University Campus in Silver City, NM February 19-21 and Feb 27-28, 2027. Wilderness First Responder & Wilderness Emergency Medical Services (WFR & WEMS) Payment through this link is for PART 2 ONLY of the WILDERNESS FIRST RESPONDER/WEMR/WEMT RECERTIFICATION course. WEMR's/WEMT's, your certification must be current in order to participate in this recertification course.
COST $325.

Register for the in-person session of a wilderness first responder course. Does not include the online learning modules or online testing. Students need to complete both the online and face-to-face components to certify. Cost: $400.00
