From rising seas to stronger storms, from grid reliability to frequent flooding: municipalities and states face common climate challenges that are daunting individually, but can be addressed leveraging the power of all, cooperatively. Regional Resilience can be our path forward.
Join UCONN Law’s Center for Energy & Environmental Law on April 17th for a solutions-based conference exploring the priorities and pathways toward regional resilience. Our discussion will range from law and policy to science and engineering. Panels feature historians, climate scientists, municipal planners, and even a few law professors.
The conference will conclude with a collaborative workshop in which participants will help shape a report to the National Science Foundation outlining key priorities for regional resilience in the Northeast. We end our day with a networking and post-conference discussion session over UCONN Dairy Bar ice cream.
