Registration - Diversified Livestock Conference

Join us at the UConn Extension Diversified Livestock Conference, a day-long educational event. The event brings together diversified livestock producers, industry professionals, and agricultural leaders, providing a valuable opportunity to connect with producers, share innovations, and build relationships within the livestock community.  The event is on Thursday, May 21st, 2026, at the Tolland Agricultural Center, 24 Hyde Ave. Vernon, CT.

Post-conference workshop (3:30–5:30 PM)
This interactive session will be led by Roy Desrochers, a global sensory expert with UVM Extension. Participants will be introduced to the basics of tasting, options for effective product taste tests, and discover how to integrate flavor quality information into marketing efforts to increase sales. This fun and educational 1 ½- hour taste session will include assessing aroma and flavor reference standards, and evaluating grass-fed beef samples, to give participants a general understanding of how to measure and communicate flavor quality. This sensory knowledge can also be applied to other livestock and agricultural products

Regular Registration: $50.00

Student Registration: $30.00 (must show school ID or proof of enrollment on the day of the event)
