Enrich your National Farm to School Month efforts with a farm to school focused tour of a farm in your region. We are featuring 4 farms with farm to school sales experience and the potential to add your District to their farm to school sales. Walk the fields, greenhouses, orchards, wash and pack areas while learning about seasonality, ordering, pre-purchasing, and best practices when communicating with a farmer. These trips are FREE and will fill up quickly. All field trips are open to all School Food Administrators and team members. We strongly encourage you to bring another team member from your district. ie. café manager, member of Wellness Committee, Business Manager etc.
Parking can be limited, Carpooling strongly encouraged.
