Let’s Talk GMOs: Creating Consistent Communication Messages introduces participants to the basics of genetically modified organisms (GMOs).

Topics covered are:

• Introduction  - This module will introduce participants to the basics of genetically modified organisms (GMOs).
• History of GMOs – including why we are all GMOs and Why GMOs are generated. 
• Public Policy- The basics of how policies and regulations can offer opportunity or threats in using GMOs.
• Misinformation- The historical and social development of GMO skepticism.
• Difficult Conversations- Addresses how to prepare for difficult conversations.
• Dialogue Management- Discusses the difference between dialogue and debate.
• Communications you can use- Provides templates for audience personas for GMO communication campaigns.

The course will open on April 1, 2023. You will have access to the course material until June 30, 2023.
