Professional forager Karen Monger, of The 3 Foragers, will lead a Halloween foray into the Hillside Environmental Education Park (the HEEP) to share the basics of mushroom identification with students and members of the public. Karen is a member and officer for the Connecticut Valley Mycological Society.
Participants aged 16 and under must be accompanied by an adult. Held rain or shine! In case of severe weather, walk will be cancelled and rescheduled to a later date.Details regarding meet up location and parking will be sent to registered participants the week before the event.This event is free and open to the public!
