Professional forager Karen Monger, of The 3 Foragers, will lead an instructional foray into Goodwin State Forest and cover the basics of mushroom identification. Karen is a member and officer for the Connecticut Valley Mycological Society. In case of inclement weather, a lecture will take place on site under cover.Participants aged 16 and under must be accompanied by an adult. Held rain or shine! In case of severe weather, walk will be cancelled and rescheduled to a later date.Details regarding meet up location and parking will be sent the week before the event.This event is free and open to the public!
