    Centennial Scholarship Program

    ULM & United Way of NE Louisiana “Take Flight Through Reading” project debuted with the original ULM book, “There’s a Bridge on the Bayou” to 3rd graders in Ouachita Parish. Each book contains a $500 ULM scholarship for the class of 2031, the 100th anniversary of the institution. The Centennial Scholarship Program will steward these 3rd graders until they reach college age, giving hope to children who may have never known a college degree was an option for their futures.
