Led by Braden Shafer, DVM, and second-year vet tech students, this class introduces the field of veterinary technology and the key role vet techs play in animal care. Students will learn basic anatomy, medical procedures, diagnostics, and hands-on skills like taking vitals and assisting with surgeries. Communication, ethics, and common health issues are also covered. Each student receives a stethoscope to take home. Students must be high school age!
