Land Use Academy Basic Training

UConn CLEAR’s Land Use Academy is holding an in-person training for land use commisisoners on Saturday, April 27, 2024, at UConn's Middlesex County Extension Center located at 1066 Saybrook Road, Haddam, CT, 06438.

Renata Bertotti, AICP, Assistant Extension Educator in LU Planning and Climate Resilience, UConn Extension will present "Basic Training: From Roles & Responsibilities to Implementation," which will cover three (3) hours of the required CGS Sec. 8-4c training as required by State Statute.

Registrants have the option to purchase a copy of the 8th Edition of “What’s Legally Required: A Guide to Legal Rules for Making Land Use Decisions in the State of Connecticut” by Mike Zizka with their registration. Purchased books can be picked up at the training.
