حرص المؤلف في هذا الكتاب على توضيح الارتباط والاتساق والتفاعل بين الثقافات المتعاقبة، وأثر ذلك في الأعمال الأدبية، والتعريف بأعمال كل من لوقيانوس والمعري، وموقعهما في تاريخ الأدب البشري.

About the book:
   In this book, the author examines three significant works of the human literary heritage of three wise literati, who are the pioneers of literature in the Syrian cultural history, in three languages. These works are the Story of Ahi Yaqar, from the Aramic history in 1000 B.C; "Dialogues of the Dead" by the Syrian author Luqianus from the Roman Empire era who wrote in Greek language in the 2nd Century A.D., and “Risalat Al Ghufran” by Abu Al-Ala Al-Ma'ari from the 5th Century Hijri/11th Century A.D. 
The author sought to clarify the correlation, parallelism and interaction between successive cultures and their impact on the completion of the literary works, and to introduce the works of Luqianus and Al-Ma'ari and their spot in the history of human literature.
