Marietta Volleyball Youth Camp

Grades 3rd through 9th (Beginner to Intermediate Athletes)
July 8-11, 2024
9:00 a.m. - 12:30 p.m.

Description:
Marietta College Head Women’s Volleyball Coach Kristy Newman is excited to host her Marietta College Volleyball Youth Camp for players who are just learning the sport and players who want to improve their skills. The camp will feature instruction for all positions and focus on individual aspects of the game. Coach Newman will be accompanied by her assistant coach and her college players for individual instruction. Registration will begin at 9:00am at the Dyson Baudo Recreation Center and instruction will start at 9:30am on the first day. Camp schedule for the remaining days will be 9:00am-12:30pm. Meals will not be provided. After receiving your registration form a confirmation email will be sent to you with additional camp information. We will accept walk-ups or day-of registration for our camp.

Equipment Needed:
Tennis shoes, kneepads, and water bottle!

Cancellation Policy:
If cancellation is necessary, you will receive 100% of the cost of registration if we are notified 30 days before the start date of camp. If cancellation occurs within less than 30 days, you will receive a 50% refund for the cost of registration.

Cost:
$155/ player

Concessions:
At the beginning of camp, during registration, parents and guardians can “bank” money for their child to use at the concession stand throughout the three days of camp. The remaining balance will be returned to the parent or guardian at the end of camp.

RELEASE AND WAIVER:
I hereby and herein authorize the directors of Marietta College Volleyball, or any agents working on their behalf, to act in my stead for the purpose of acquiring medical attention for my child. I impose upon the assumptions of this duty the responsibility to act with reasonable care and caution and release and waive all liability for any injuries and illness incurred while at the camp in the event the same is performed pursuant to such standard. By my signature hereunder, I warrant that my child is in good physical condition, has no undisclosed medical problems, illnesses or disabilities, and can fully participate in the camp. I also represent that my child has received a physical within the last year and is medically competent to participate in the activities at camp.
