Independent Contractor Payment

The Personal Trainer is an independent contractor, not an employee, agent, joint venturer, or partner of NMT for the purposes of this Agreement. The Personal Trainer acknowledges that NMT is a State-owned facility, and nothing in this Agreement creates any employment rights, benefits, or expectations beyond those established by her primary employment with the university. The Personal Trainer is solely responsible for all federal, state, and local taxes, as well as workers’ compensation and liability coverage, related to this training business
