This training will identify the main components of screening, brief intervention and referral to treatment for addressing high risk substance use while understanding the steps of implementation, screening of patients, interpretation of screening, results, determining the need for patient referral and understanding the importance of collaborative follow up with specialists to ensure ongoing patient care after referral.
