Publications

Publications contain the greatest number of works of all of the series published by the Survey. These books were published between 1910 and 1958. A total of 51 Publications were produced. These are reports of a technical nature on the geology and biology of Michigan. Earlier numbers in this series were published under one of two sub-series: either Geological Series or Biological Series. Biological Series 6 (Publication 31) was the final report issued in this sub-series, which was discontinued after 1921. The sub-series heading Geological Series was discontinued in 1953. Most Publications were issued in both hardbound and paperbound editions. In some cases separates were also available. In that they were wall sized maps, Publications 23, 39 and 49 are not digitized
