VIRTUAL WORKSHOP SERIES

This 3-part workshop series will walk producers through key best practices for demonstrating on-farm food safety needed for schools and other alternative wholesale outlets. Led by farmers and food safety experts, this series includes conducting a self-assessment, developing timelines for implementing improvements, and drafting standard operating procedures. 

Farmers who complete all 3 sections and submit worksheets will receive a certificate from UConn Ext. demonstrating farm to school food safety literacy and recognized by the CT Department of Education.
