Explore UConn is a one-day 4-H program, aimed at junior and senior highschool youth this program allows members to visit various College of Agriculture, Health and Natural Resources (CAHNR) departments, enjoy a provided lunch in a campus dining unit, and interact with current UConn students, faculty and staff. The cost is $25.00 per youth with a discount of $5.00 for enrolled 4-H members. Parents can drop off students in the morning and come back to attend the afternoon College and Career panelÂ
Department workshops include an Animal Science Track, Nutrition Science Track, and workshops from Natural Resources and the Environment  (NRE), Enviromental Science (ENVS), Enviromental Studies (EVST), Ratcliffe Hicks Urban Forestry and Arboriculture (RH UFA), Kinesiology (KINS) and Plant Science and Landscape Architecture (PSLA). If you are not an enrolled 4-H member please head to the UConn 4-H Website and complete the Health Wavier, Code of Conduct and Media Release and email those forms to 4-H@uconn.edu https://4-h.extension.uconn.edu/forms/Â
