2025 UConn Nursery and Garden Center Tour

Join us for the UConn 2025 Extension Led Tour of Nurseries in CT.  This tour (9/30 and 10/1) at Nurseries in Newtown, Canterbury, and Woodstock CT is for commercial growers of woody ornamentals and herbaceous perennials who are looking to expand their knowledge of production practices, IPM, and network with others in the industry. The tour takes place over two days and is facilitated by UCon Extension Educators.
Topics include potting media, disease and insect control, propagation, grafting, and more. Additionally there will be demonstrations of IPM methods and pesticide calibration and application techniques. Parking at each individual operation provided. Light refreshments included.
