2024 Master Composter Course

Anyone, whether they compost now or not, who wants to learn more about composting and is willing to share their composting skills and knowledge with the public through volunteer activities such as presentations, workshops, exhibits and demonstrations. UConn Master Composter Certificate and Name Badge will be awarded upon completion of course and 2 approved outreach activities (usually around 20 hours). At least one field trip. Class Dates & Times, Fall 2024 Saturdays, September 14 and 28, 9 am to 2 pm in Haddam.  Virtual class Thursday evenings ~ 6pm to 9 pm, September 19 and 26.  SATURDAY IN PERSON CLASSES LOCATION: Middlesex County Extension Center, 1066 Saybrook Rd, Haddam CT 06438 PROGRAM FEE: $125.00
