Updated in 2023, this 273 page book is the definitive reference guide for land use planners, volunteer commissioners, and other decision makers on the processes, powers, regulations, and procedures for making local land use decisions in the State of Connecticut. It covers everything from basic concepts in land use planning and regulation to steps in processing applications to enforcement of decisions. Proceeds from the book support the educational programs of UConn CLEAR’s Land Use Academy, a collaboration of the departments of Extension and Natural Resources and Environment.
