2023 Segment Two Seafood HACCP Course (In Person)
In-Person Segment Two Seafood HACCP Training Course Tuesday January 24, 2023 8:30 am to 5 pm (snow date 1/26/2023) Weicker Building, Room 312, UConn-Avery Point 1084 Shennecossett Road, Groton, CT This in-person Segment Two course (day-long training) is the final step to meeting the FDA training requirement for seafood HACCP. This course follows the completion of the Segment One HACCP Internet course offered by Cornell University distance learning (http://seafoodhaccp.cornell.edu/). Anyone completing both the Segment One course and this Segment Two course will receive a Certificate of Course Completion issued by the Association of Food and Drug Officials, recognized by the FDA as meeting the seafood HACCP regulation training requirement. If you have already completed the Segment One course or plan on doing so by 1/20/2023, please register for this Segment Two class, as space is limited. Registration fee: $130 ($125 for the course plus an additional charge of $5/person to cover UConn expenses related to online credit card payments). You must bring a hard copy (three-ring binder, NOT spiral bound) of the most up-to-date version of the FDA Fish & Fishery Products Hazards and Control Guide that includes any updated chapters or appendices from 2019-2022.
