A brand-new specialty camp designed especially for junior high youth (6th-8th grade) with a curiosity for animals, science, and veterinary medicine! Beyond the Barn: Vet Science Camp goes deeper than traditional animal camps, giving students a hands-on look at what it's really like to work in the veterinary and animal science fields.

During this camp, 4-Hers will explore basic veterinary skills and animal health concepts, learn how science plays a role in animal care and diagnostics, work closely with animals in engaging, age-appropriate activities, and discover career paths in veterinary and animal science. This camp is perfect for students who love animals and want to move beyond the barn to hands-on activities led by both experienced 4-H agents and veterinary professionals. We are very excited and know this camp will fill up quickly!


Cost: $375 (covers camp and incidentals- Transportation NOT Provided)

Cancellation Policy
Camp registrations are non-refundable. However, in cases of emergency, at the discretion of the county director, refunds may be issued if the request is made at least two weeks before the start of camp. A $20 service charge applies to all refunds.
