Tennessee Master Dairy Producer Certification Program
The Tennessee Master Dairy Producer Program is an educational program that provides a variety of information on animal housing, management, nutrition, reproduction, milk quality, health, handling, welfare, and other topics. Modules are continuously created to provide dairy producers and other interested parties with the most up-to-date information on the topic of interest.
Producers interested in becoming a certified “Master Dairy Producer” will need to complete 6 hours of continuing education each year and pay a $50 certification fee. Continuing education hours can be completed through UTDairy webinars, field days, or conferences. Visit UTDairy for more information on past and upcoming programs (https://utdairy.utk.edu). Certified producers will meet the educational component requirements for 50% cost-share through the Tennessee Agriculture Enhancement Program (https://www.tn.gov/agriculture/farms/taep/applications.html).
