Horse Management Field Days

The 11th Annual Horse Management Field Days will be held regionally throughout Tennessee in February 2026. Hands-on educational material on a variety of equine specific topics will be covered. Adult and youth specific sessions will be offered at each location, along with interactive activities. Information is applicable to individuals of all experience levels and useful for all breeds, ages, and types of equids.

The event is open to adults and youth of all ages. Pre-registration is open until February 2, 2026 for $15.00 per person and includes dinner. Late or on-site registration is permitted for $20.00 per person. Registration fees are non-refundable.

Events will be held both indoor and outdoor, weather permitting. Indoor locations will be used in the event of inclement weather. No rain dates will be scheduled.

Dates and Locations:
Eastern Region: Thursday,  February 5 , 2026 from 5-9pm EST, Brehm Animal Science Arena, UTIA Campus, Knoxville, TN
Central Region: Wednesday, February 11, 2026 from 5-9pm CST, Rutherford County Extension Office, Murfreesboro, TN
Western Region: Monday, February 9, 2026 from 5-9pm CST, First Farmer's Co-Op, Lexington, TN

Cost for all attendees: (cost includes dinner and instruction from UT Animal Science, UT Extension, and UTCVM faculty)
• $15 per person to pre-register (until February 2, 2026)
• Can register at the door for the cost of $20
