Benefits

Your UT Gardens membership entitles you to the member benefits offered at any of the three garden sites - Knoxville, Crossville, and Jackson.

• Members will receive our Gardens magazine, printed twice a year.
• Members are eligible for discounts at plant sales.
• Members receive invitations to attend previews before some events are open to the public.
• Members can register for classes or workshops at a reduced rate.
• Members enjoy reciprocal admission benefits at nearly 300 gardens across the United States.

Garden Memberships and Donations to the UT Gardens are treated differently by the IRS. We appreciate your consideration of both. Donations to the UT Gardens can be made, UT Gardens.

Prices range from $15.00 to $1,000.00 (price depends on options selected)

What information do we collect?

We collect information from you when you place an order.

When ordering or registering on our site, as appropriate, you may be asked to enter your: name, e-mail address, mailing address, phone number or credit card information.

What do we use your information for?

Any of the information we collect from you may be used in one of the following ways:

To improve customer service-
    
Your information helps us to more effectively respond to your customer service requests and support needs

To process transactions-
    Your information, whether public or private, will not be sold, exchanged, transferred, or given to any other company for any reason whatsoever, without your consent, other than for the express purpose of delivering the purchased product or service requested.


To send periodic emails-
    The email address you provide for order processing, may be used to send you information and updates pertaining to your order, in addition to receiving occasional company news, updates, related product or service information, etc.


How do we protect your information?

We implement a variety of security measures to maintain the safety of your personal information when you place an order or enter, submit, or access your personal information.

We offer the use of a secure server. All supplied sensitive/credit information is transmitted via Secure Socket Layer (SSL) technology and then encrypted into our Payment gateway providers database only to be accessible by those authorized with special access rights to such systems, and are required to?keep the information confidential.

After a transaction, your private information (credit cards, social security numbers, financials, etc.) will not be stored on our servers.

Do we use cookies?

Yes (Cookies are small files that a site or its service provider transfers to your computers hard drive through your Web browser (if you allow) that enables the sites or service providers systems to recognize your browser and capture and remember certain information

We use cookies to help us remember and process the items in your shopping cart, understand and save your preferences for future visits and compile aggregate data about site traffic and site interaction so that we can offer better site experiences and tools in the future.

Do we disclose any information to outside parties?

We do not sell, trade, or otherwise transfer to outside parties your personally identifiable information. This does not include trusted third parties who assist us in operating our website, conducting our business, or servicing you, so long as those parties agree to keep this information confidential. We may also release your information when we believe release is appropriate to comply with the law, enforce our site policies, or protect ours or others rights, property, or safety. However, non-personally identifiable visitor information may be provided to other parties for marketing, advertising, or other uses.

Children's Online Privacy Protection Act Compliance

We are in compliance with the requirements of COPPA (Children's Online Privacy Protection Act), we do not collect any information from anyone under 13 years of age. Our website, products and services are all directed to people who are at least 13 years old or older.

If you need to return or exchange a product, you must call 865-974-7108 or send an email to cphill62@utk.edu or tjay1@utk.edu. Please describe the problem and request authorization for a return. If the product owner grants written authorization for a return, please make a copy of the original paperwork and include it in the return shipment. All returns must be received within 20 days of the original order date, and the customer is responsible for the return shipping charge.

University of Tennessee Gardens, Knoxville Cancellation & Refund Policy:
Classes may be cancelled due to insufficient enrollment. A full refund will be made in the event the UT Gardens cancels a class.

Individual Cancellations
If you find you cannot attend the class or lecture you’ve registered for, please email dstowell@utk.edu and let us know.
A full refund of the registration fee will be issued for cancellations made at least 30 days prior to the event. A 50% refund will be issued 15 days prior to the event. No refunds will be made for cancellations made fewer than 7 days before the event.

If you are unable to attend a program due to an unforeseen issue, you may transfer the class fee to another class. This class transfer must be redeemed within 6 months of your original class registration. If the class you transfer your fee to is greater than your original registration fee, you will need to pay the difference. If the class you wish to transfer the fee to is less that your original fee you will not be reimbursed the difference. In order to transfer the registration fee you must email dstowell@utk.edu within 24 hours of the starting class time.

We cannot refund registration fees for missed class sessions.
