UAB Jazz Summit 2024

UAB Jazz Summit 2024 March 28-30, 2024

The 2024 UAB Jazz Summit will begin Thursday, March 28th in the UAB Hulsey Center. This is an opportunity for high school students and excellent 8th graders to immerse themselves in a collegiate jazz experience. Students will be placed in ensembles with college students and will receive instruction from some of the world’s top teachers and players. The summit this year will feature Kevin Leon (drums) and Chad Fisher (trombone), both are members of the international hit band St. Paul and The Broken Bones.  All participating students will receive a UAB Jazz T-shirt, free access to concerts, numerous workshops, dinner on Thursday 3/28, and lunch  on Friday 3/29.   Eligibility:
All students, grades 8-12 are eligible to participate in the Jazz Summit.

Registration:
$85, Non-refundable participation fee, which must be paid to reserve a spot.
