17th Annual UAB Clarinet Symposium

The UAB Department of Music and Backun Musical Services are proud to present the 17th Annual UAB Clarinet Symposium on March 7-8, 2020, with special guest artists Chad Burrow and Diane Barger, along with a host of professional clarinetists from around the region. Join us for a weekend filled with recitals, master classes, clinics, clarinet choirs, and opportunities to try instruments and equipment with our wonderful vendors, Backun Musical Service and Art's Music . Registration will include participation in all events and lunch for both Saturday and Sunday. All participants will perform in the final clarinet choirs’ recital at the beautiful Alys Stephens Center for the Performing Arts.
