2024 UAB Drumline "Chop Shop"   August 24, 2024

The UAB Drumline “Chop Shop” will consist of group instruction and clinic sessions regarding many aspects of contemporary marching percussion, including warm-ups and exercises, technique building, "Mental Floss", chop-out sessions, and more. This camp is for all rising 9th - 12th grade students, and recently graduated seniors. Depending on the number and skill level of applicants, the large group may be split into groups to facilitate more effective teaching strategies. Tuition for the camp is $35, which includes all instruction, an exercise/music packet, lunch, and a t-shirt. The workshop will last from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM, with registration at 9:30 AM.
