McFerrin Center Program Sponsorships

  • Startup Fast Pass is a fast-paced introduction to the basic principles of how to transform a business idea into an actual startup in just one weekend. The program has been carefully designed to be highly experiential providing participants a real feel for the roller-coaster ride that is launching a startup. Fast Pass is offered a minimum of once per semester.

  • The Reynolds & Reynolds Entrepreneurship Bootcamp for Veterans (EBV) at Texas A&M is a novel, one-of-a-kind initiative designed to leverage the skills, resources and infrastructure of higher education to offer cutting-edge, experiential training in entrepreneurship and small business management to post-9/11 veterans with service-connected disabilities and a passion for entrepreneurship.

  • The Entrepreneurial Experiences Fund is provided to help enable and encourage student experiences that enhance entrepreneurial learning and connections. These experiences may include attending entrepreneurial workshops, seminars, pitch competitions, related conferences or symposia, for which the McFerrin Center may provide funding to any Texas A&M student year-round. All sponsorships contribute directly to funding of student experiences.

  • Our unique, global programs focus on entrepreneurship across the world and give students a chance to meet and work with interesting new people who are innovating and changing the world on other continents. Sponsorships are available to support an individual student trip, or the overall cohort for each trip. McFerrin hosts 2-4 study abroad trips per year.

  • McFerrin Methods are thought-provoking workshops that provide an opportunity to network with entrepreneurial-minded individuals as well as expand the knowledge base of attendees. McFerrin Methods are open to Texas A&M current students, faculty, staff, the local Bryan/College Station community, and all involved with the Aggie Entrepreneurial Ecosystem. Sponsorships cover one full semester of Methods. Sessions are offered a minimum 2 times per month up to once a week during the semester.

  • The Raymond Ideas Challenge is a campus-wide idea competition that takes place at Texas A&M each year. The competition challenges undergraduate and graduate students from any major to dream up the next great product, service, or solution. As an idea challenge, there is no prototype or business plan required in order to participate. The next Challenge will be hosted in the Fall of 2021.

  • The Startup Living Learning Community (Startup LLC) is a unique opportunity for entrepreneurial-minded first-year students. Participants can expect to be immersed in Texas A&M University‚Äôs entrepreneurship ecosystem with the McFerrin Center for Entrepreneurship. Startup LLC meets weekly each semester, introducing students to entrepreneurship through a dynamic, experiential structure. Sponsorships are available to support LLC entrepreneurial focused day trips or weekly activities.
