September 8, 2020 DIY Rain Barrel Class (VIRTUAL + RAIN BARREL)

This VIRTUAL program covers the basics and benefits of rainwater harvesting and the effects stormwater has on the environment. Participants will learn how to collect and utilize rainwater at home and have the opportunity to purchase their very own 55 gallon rain barrel. Rain barrels are recycled food-grade containers and are roughly 24" wide by 36" tall.


VIRTUAL CLASS DETAILS: Tuesday, September 8, 2020


This class will be held VIRTUALLY on Microsoft Teams on Tuesday, September 8th at 6:00pm. Our staff horticulturalists and water resource professionals will be online taking and answering your questions. Don’t worry if you cannot watch it live, as the link will be available for 30 days. We will be posting the video our Water University website and our Water University YouTube page for you to watch later or for your review.

RAIN BARREL PICK UP: Saturday, September 12, 2020 9:00 am – 12:00 noon

Choose a pick-up location! Rain Barrels will be completed and ready for you to install at your home. Please check your email for specific pick up details closer to the date. Barrels will be loaded into your vehicles with a drive-thru system. Volunteers will be wearing appropriate PPE to keep everyone safe.

Please make sure your vehicle is large enough to hold the rain barrels. Rain barrels are recycled food-grade containers and are roughly 24" wide by 36" tall.


ALL RAIN BARRELS MUST BE PRE-PAID FOR BEFORE PICK UP DATE.

Orders close at 11:59pm on September 9, 2020, unless quantities are still available


RAIN BARRELS CANNOT/WILL NOT BE SHIPPED.
