2018 Navigating the Future of Health Care Delivery

Goal:

This activity brings together Advanced Practice Registered Nurses, Physician's Assistants, and Physicians to further develop their leadership skills and discuss ways that inter-professional collaboration can strengthen healthcare delivery. This course is designed to provide an enjoyable and engaging learning experience while providing practical and relevant skills.

Objectives:

• Discuss effective communication and presentation strategies.

• Describe the key policy and economic issues that impact healthcare providers in Texas.

• Discuss how the opioid epidemic and the aging population impact healthcare in Texas.
