Summer 2016 Water & Wastewater Short Course

The semi-annual water and wastewater short course is hosted by the Global Petroleum Research Institute in partnership with the Texas A&M Engineering Experiment Station. Not only does this course offer lectures from industry and academia experts, but it also provides a close-knit environment that fosters networking between professionals.

The course includes presentations on current innovative treatment technologies, new analytical methods and applications in the industry. Examples of these include: new innovations in walnut shell filters, stainless steel tubular membranes, microbiological and organics monitoring and testing, multiparameter real time monitoring, cytotoxicity analysis of PW, application of membranes in EOR processes, effects of TDS on plants and open pit reuse, using analyzers to control chemistry and considerations for treating PW for reuse.
