Program Overview:
The objective of this course is to teach engineers and technicians vibration engineering principles and their applications in industry settings. After completing this course, the participants will be able to model vibration systems, analyze vibration systems, and use vibration techniques for machine condition monitoring.

Course Outline:
• Overview of the vibration field
• Introduction to single degree of freedom systems
• Workshop 1: Simulation and identification of a SDOF system using Bruel and Kjar system
• Introduction to multi degree of freedom systems
• Workshop 1: Simulation and identification of a MDOF system using Bruel and Kjar system
• Modeling and diagnosis of vibration problems in mechanical systems using Bruel and Kjar system as well as other laboratory systems
