Internal AgriLife Employees: Fall COADC Meeting

Join us October 26-28, 2017, in College Station for the Fall COADC Meeting. Please begin your registration on this screen by selecting Yes to indicate that you are attending some part of the COADC weekend and click add to cart. The next page you are directed to will allow you to choose which events you and guests are attending. Prices will be listed next to each event on the next page.

Here are a few important points of information for the fall meeting:

  • Thursday Evening - we will meet at the Texas A&M University REC Center for a pre-tailgate dinner on the outdoor terrace. REC Center staff will provide tours of the newly renovated facilities at 5:00 pm & 5:30 pm, with dinner beginning at 6:00 pm.

  • Friday Morning - the business meeting will be held at the new ScottsMiracle-Gro Facility. Breakfast will open at 7:15 AM and the meeting will begin promptly at 8:00 AM. Parking is available, but limited at the ScottsMiracle-Gro Facility. Please carpool if possible. Along with the business meeting agenda, hear College updates from Vice Chancellor and Dean Dr. Mark Hussey, learn about our cutting-edge eye tracking research, and tour the new turf grass facility.

  • Friday Lunch - The Texas A&M Foundation will be hosting lunch for advisory councils across the university at The Zone Club. During this lunch, we will get an update on the Lead By Example Campaign from Foundation President Tyson Voelkel and hear from Texas A&M University President Michael Young.

  • Friday Afternoon - After lunch, members are encouraged to visit the George H.W. Bush Presidential Library to see the new Legacy of Ranching: Preserving the Past, Embracing the Future exhibit.

  • Friday Evening - We will kick-off the evening with optional tours and wine tastings at Messina Hof Winery at 5:00 pm. Dinner will begin at 6:00 pm. During dinner, we will learn more about Texas A&M's viticulture and enology program. Parking is available at Messina Hof Winery.

  • Saturday - the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences is hosting a tailgate at the Agriculture and Life Sciences Complex before the Mississippi State University football game. There is no registration required or fee to attend the tailgate. The AgriLife Center will remain open during the game or you can purchase football tickets in the COADC ticket block.

For COADC Tour Registration: Cancellations received before May 11th are refundable minus a 10% administrative fee. Cancellations received after May 11th are non-refundable.
