The Implementing Watershed Plans Training is set for December 17, 2018 from 10 AM - 4:00 PM in College Station. The training includes an overview and case studies on implementation strategies, sources of funding, keeping stakeholders engaged, outreach programs, tracking implementation, and evaluating progress.

Cost is $50 and includes all training materials, lunch, and a certificate of completion at the end of the course. Registration is required by December 13, 2018. Register online at marketplace, or by email to Lunch will be provided for participants. Refunds will be available prior to December 13th less a $15 processing fee. There will be no refunds for cancellations after December 13th, but substitutions are allowed, providing that notification is sent to Nathan Glavy ( in advance.

The Texas Watershed Planning Program is managed by the Texas Water Resources Institute and is funded through a Clean Water Act Section 319(h) nonpoint source grant provided by the Texas State Soil and Water Conservation Board and U.S. Environmental Protection Agency. The institute is part of Texas A&M AgriLife Research, Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Service and the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences at Texas A&M University.
