Established in 2007, the Student Alumni Association (SAA) has connected Bearkats of the past, present, and future through meaningful engagement, professional development, and campus tradition.

To better support today’s students, SAA is evolving into The Student Network (TSN), a rebrand focused on stronger leadership, accountability, and student impact. TSN serves as the student-facing arm of Alumni Relations, creating intentional opportunities for connection, development, and real-world experience.

TSN introduces a Program Assistant (PA) leadership model to ensure consistent programming and student-led success. Program Assistants support events, alumni engagement, and member experience while receiving a $1,000 annual scholarship for their leadership and commitment.

The Student Network is open to all currently enrolled students, regardless of classification, major, race, color, creed, gender, physical ability, sexual orientation, or national origin. TSN strives to create a great Bearkat community for all, one that can transition throughout your collegiate years into your alumni experience.
