Dinner and a Movie 2024

The Great Estate is the perfect setting for a sensational movie experience whether you’re a film buff or simply looking for a unique night out.

From sparkling suspense to classic horror, select a thrilling film from our 2024 collection — “Knives Out,” “House on Haunted Hill” and “The Birds” –and see it projected on the big screen in our historic two-story Gothic-inspired Ballroom after enjoying a casual three-course dinner and cash bar in the Christopher Wren Dining Room.

When you enjoy an evening of film and food at the Great Estate,  you’ll also experience what it was like to be part of the family – as the ballroom was the original location for the Wilson family’s home movie theatre and features a drop-down screen and original built-in projection booth.

  • Salad: Late harvest greens with dried cranberries, diced tart apple, chevre crumbles & crispy sweet potato chips with fig vinaigrette
  • Entree: Maple glazed grilled chicken breast with roasted brussels sprouts, native Michigan wild grain pilaf & hubbard squash cream
  • Dessert: Spice cake with cream cheese frosting & caramel sauce

Refund Policy: Because of Meadow Brook Hall's non-profit status and the intimacy of our events, we only offer full refunds if cancellations are received fifteen (15) days prior to the event, partial refunds (50%) seven to fourteen (7-14) days prior to the event and no refunds if cancellations are received less than seven (7) days prior to the event. NO EXCEPTIONS.
