The Classical Theatre Study in Greece Program brings interested students to the birthplace of western theatre. Study, rehearse and present a classical play surrounded by the same mountains that informed the playwrights. Grow as a theatre artist, walk the paths of Agamemnon, visit the Oracle and, yes, enjoy the beaches.
An audition/interview is required for participation and is conducted in the early winter semester. Students will enroll in the course THA 4081: Classical Theatre Study in Greece. This 4-credit course satisfies the university general education requirement for the capstone experience for Theatre majors.
The total program fee of $4,900 does not include airfare. Students must reserve their own flights, to arrive in Athens no later than June 13, 2022.
After paying your deposit, if you would like to pay the entire balance of the Classical Theatre in Greece program (instead of making installment payments) please select the "Balance Payment" option from the drop-down. If you choose this option, the balance payment is due by April 25, 2022.
