Participants will study at CEREF with Italian researchers and students, receiving a broad-based introduction to the Italian health care system and to the structure of nursing education in Italy while gaining an understanding of evidence-based practice in the nursing profession.
Knowledge of Italian is not required.
The city of Padova (known as Padua in English) lies along the Bacchiglione River close to Venice in northern Italy. It has been one of Europe’s primary centers of learning and art for 800 years. The CEREF, part of the university where Galileo once taught, is a world leader in health research and advanced education for nurses and other health professionals, and offers graduate programs in Home Care Nursing and Nursing Management.
The program cost below does not include international airfare; students will be responsible for purchasing their own round-trip tickets (Venice is the closest airport).
2020 Nursing Research in Italy: The first $1,017 is non-refundable. Balance payments are only refundable if the student does not qualify academically, the program is cancelled, or in the event of an emergency. Requests for refunds (except in the case of program cancellation) will be considered on an individual basis. Please contact Gary Moore by e-mail at email@example.com if a refund is needed.
