The Kaplan Nursing School Entrance Exam is a tool to determine if the students have the academic skills necessary to perform effectively in a School of Nursing, and is required for the Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) and the Practical Nurse (PN) programs. The test is a 91 question, multiple choice exam that evaluates the basic reading, math, writing, and science skills of students seeking entry into a nursing program.  This exam can be taken once per application period.

Exam sections and timing:
 Tutorial: 9 questions- untimed
 Reading: 22 questions- 45 minutes
 Math: 28 questions- 45 minutes
 Writing: 21 questions- 45 minutes
Science: 20 questions- 30 minutes
