Have a melody, riff, or musical idea in your head and want to turn it into something you can play? In this hands-on class, you’ll learn the basics of melody, rhythm, chords, and song structure while creating your own original music. Experiment with riffs, chord progressions, and simple compositions through fun creative activities and guided practice. Whether you’re new to music theory or already play an instrument, you’ll gain tools to turn your ideas into real songs and music. Students must bring their own instrument.
