Intermediate Welding (High School) - July 20-24, 1-5 pm

Take your welding skills to the next level in this week-long, hands-on camp where you’ll build on foundational techniques while working with professional fabrication equipment used in real shop and industry settings. You’ll explore how welding is applied in both manufacturing and creative metal art, strengthening accuracy, technique, and confidence along the way. Led by CMU Tech welding instructor Crimson Moriarty, you’ll complete guided projects designed to reinforce core welding processes and basic fabrication at an intermediate level. Whether you’re continuing in the skilled trades, exploring engineering, or expanding your welding experience, this camp is a great next step in your welding journey. (For your safety, please come prepared in jeans, a 100% cotton shirt, boots or canvas shoes, a hair tie if you have long hair, and a fillable water bottle.
