Seven Herbs, Endless Uses: Plant Science and Herb Agriculture Lab - July 20-24, 8:30 am-12:30 pm

A fun, science-based exploration of seven herbs and how they grow, look, and can be used in everyday life! Campers will keep a field journal as they discover plant growth, propagation, and simple, sustainable ways to grow herbs. Get your hands dirty (in the best way!) growing herbs in soil, recycled containers, and even simple hydroponic setups while learning how plants live and thrive. Then put your harvest to use by creating teas, infused waters, seasonings, oils, and salves—and even making your own herb press. This camp is all about exploring plant science through hands-on growing,creating, and experimenting with real herbs from start to finish.
