The Art of Comic, Manga, and Graphic Novel Creation: June 8-12, 8:30 am-12:30 pm

In this camp, students will dive into the exciting world of comic book creation from start to finish! You’ll learn the fundamental skills needed to design and complete your own hand-drawn comic, exploring styles from Western comics, Japanese manga, and alternative graphic storytelling. Starting with a script, you’ll discover how stories come to life through storyboards and develop into fully inked pages. Along the way, you’ll practice  key techniques like panel layout and composition, shading, inking with micron and dip pens, and digital  lettering. By the end, you’ll have created your own original comic book
