Safe Sitter®: Babysitting and Pediatric CPR Certification Option 1: June 15-18, 8:30 am-12:30 pm

In this fun, hands-on Safe Sitter® workshop, students learn how to stay safe, act responsibly, and care for younger children with confidence. This nationally recognized, pediatrician-developed program uses games and role-playing to make learning engaging and practical. Students build essential safety skills for handling emergencies, develop child care skills ncluding behavior management and child development, and practice first aid and rescue skills such as choking response and CPR techniques for infants and children. They also learn life and business skills like interviewing for jobs, setting rates, and communicating with families. Students will earn both the Safe Sitter® certification and the American Heart Association Pediatric CPR and First Aid certification, along with a Babysitting Tote. Participants must be 12+ years of age!
